INFORMATIONAL

F.A.Q.’s

What is CBD?

  • CBD or Cannabidiol is one of at least 85 active cannabinoids in the cannabis plant displaying SIGNIFICANT medical benefits but does not make people feel “stoned” and can actually counteract the psychoactivity of THC.

How does CBD work?

  • CBD activates different receptors in our bodies that control activities such as, but not limited to- pain sensitivity, appetite, nausea and vomiting, anxiety, blood flow, and inflammation.

How is this legal for you to sell?

  • The products we carry contain CBD derived from a CO2 extraction from the MALE HEMP PLANT. Not the female marijuana plant. This allows the CBD we carry to have only trace amounts of THC far below the federal limit. All of our products are perfectly legal to purchase and consume in all 50 states!

Will I fail a drug test from using this product?

  • Our CBD rich products come from the male hemp plant and contain only trace amounts of THC far below the federal limit.

Will CBD help me with my ailment?

  • Due to federal regulation, we cannot make ay claims as to what CBD does. We do however encourage you to try it and conduct your own research.

Is your CBD synthetic?

  • No, our CBD is a natural constituent of industrial hemp oil.

Why Hemp?

  • Industrial hemp produces high levels of CBD and low levels of TCH, whereas Marijuana is the opposite, (High THC, Low CBD). This makes extracting CBD easier and more efficient using hemp instead of marijuana.

Where does your hemp come from?

  • The hemp we use to get our CBD is grown and harvested in select microclimates on generational farms in hemp friendly countries.

ENTOURAGE EFFECT

SUMMARY:

While there is still a great deal to be discovered and understood, what you should know is that cannabis is a medicine which relies on the synergy between many different chemical compounds (terpenes and cannabinoids) working together; this phenomena is known as The “entourage effect”.

LONG EXPLANATION:

The term “entourage effect” has become an important piece of vocabulary in the cannabis community to describe the relationship between terpenes, cannabinoids, and other phytochemicals (chemicals made by plants) which are responsible for the vast therapeutic potential of cannabis.

By now, most people have heard about cannabinoids such as THC and CBD. While these compounds have a range of medical benefits, they are only part of what makes cannabis medicine so effective and have proven to be less effective on their own then when combined with other phytochemicals like terpenes.

Both cannabinoids and terpenes affect receptors in the endocannabinoid system which is what allows cannabis to act therapeutically in the human body, this action in some cases also produces the “high” which most are familiar with.

It is the terpenes in cannabis which modulate (modify or control) the effect that the cannabinoids in each sample will have on the user, this is why strains of cannabis effect each user uniquely. For example, if you have 2 different types of cannabis and both have 15% THC, but one gives you energetic effects and one gives you sedative effects, this is largely due to the different terpene profiles.

How Does THC Affect the EC System and Behavior?

When a person smokes marijuana, THC overwhelms the EC system, quickly attaching to cannabinoid receptors throughout the brain and body. This interferes with the ability of natural cannabinoids to do their job of fine-tuning communication between neurons, which can throw the entire system off balance.

Because cannabinoid receptors are in so many parts of the brain and body, the effects of THC are wide-ranging: It can slow down a person’s reaction time (which can impair driving or athletic skills), disrupt the ability to remember things that just happened, cause anxiety, and affect judgment. THC also affects parts of the brain that make a person feel good—this is what gives people the feeling of being “high.” But over time THC can change how the EC system works in these brain areas, which can lead to problems with memory, addiction, and mental health.
